belē

ˈbelē: That's how you pronounce 'Belly'

Now, The real problem!'.
Note* People who have a flat stomach, please ignore this  :)
Now let's come back!
Nowadays people are struggling to reduce the belly. Don't know if someone wanted to increase :)
I wanted to, in my childhood days. Desperately wanted to increase my tummy ;-)
And now I desperately want to reduce.like 6 ..no.. just reduce my family pack ;-)
Why the belly increases?
Is it the beer?
Or is it the food we eat?
Or is it the air we inhale? ( People tell me they put on weight on inhaling AIR! Strange!)
Or is it because of too much sleep?
Or is it because of tension or stress?
Or is it because hereditary?
Or is it because we are continuously sitting after food?

Don't know. Let me know if you find the exact reason.

Even if you exercise vigorously, the belly part will be the last to reduce!!!

I like the saying "No clock is more regular than the belly".
I know everyone out there gets a alert when you are hungry!!! :)

Also once you reduce your belly, most of your dress fits properly and you look amazing! :)

I know that you are thinking why this guy talking about belly and where is he heading to ..?
Trust me! This was my inspiration
A pen fell from my table and i had to bent to take it and something was stopping me to take the pen.
It was the belly fat!!! :)

Less belly less diseases.
So exercise yourselves to look amazing.

Paper Power

Remember the old saying
“If wealth is lost nothing is lost
If health is lost something is lost
If character is lost everything is lost”

I strongly agree to the last two lines, but let me give you a thought on the first line.

This is just a thought.
Money or wealth matters a lot. I mean A LOT.
In this planet called EARTH, nothing is free, except air and water.
Why people are working staying so far from there loved ones?
Why people are working over time?
Why majority people going for engineering and medical streams?
Why people purchase land and gold often?
And the list goes on and on...
It’s all to make wealth or money
See the magic, a piece of the paper can make. That’s the power of paper. Anything can be bought with the paper.
Earlier people used to say wealth can’t buy love. But I believe it can buy that also
up to an extent.
If you don’t have money ask your friends, your loved ones, they will definitely give it.
You never know where you will get the money from.
People whom you know for many years may not give you; may be the circumstances they are undergoing. People whom you met in the last two weeks may give you.
Its not that people who are rich always give and people who are poor will not.
You cannot blame auto-walas charging you high. They also have to survive in this world.
If you have wealth, you have lots of friends, relatives etc.
If you don’t have wealth, of course you will have friends, relatives but not much.
Money can change person both mentally and physically.
Nowadays the trend is that people who are rich still grow rich and people who are poor is still going poorer.
Recession came and lots of people said all the money is gone. Where’s all the money gone? I did not see any recession when I walked into a shopping mall.
You cannot blame anyone. The world is like that!

Now you complete the first line “If wealth is lost ........”

In the traffic

After four continuous cloudy days in Banglore, the SUN came back.
Seems like it's a sunny day with some cool breeze. I was in the first traffic signal in my bike. From my home it's nearly 3km to office and I have to across 3 traffic signals.
That too heavy traffic and I had a meeting to attend also. I turned off the engine and observed the people around me because I had 180 seconds to 'green'.

I saw many people travelling in Volvo buses. Many of them were listening to music and some of them were sleeping. I saw the board of the bus. It said Electronic City. Now I got to know why people will sleep in the bus.(it takes 2 hours minimum to reach the destination).I saw a group of hijra's asking for money. A man who was talking too loud in a mobile phone. A woman in 'scooty pep' doing little touch up's. And there goes the green light.I started off in the slow moving traffic.

Onto the next signal. I was hoping that it would be green, so I drove fast as I could.
But when I reached there it was just 'red'.
I saw a policeman right in the middle of the road catching a rider in front of me who had jumped the signal. Suddenly I heard a familiar voice. I turned back.It was the same person whom I saw in the previous signal who spoke loudly. I heard the song 'Masakali' from an auto.
As I was enjoying the Rahman's creation, suddenly signal turned green.
Off I went to the next signal. To my luck the final signal was green.
I spend almost 30 minutes in the traffic. BY the time I reached office the team meeting has already started.

Sometimes it's good to observe people what they do. (not always!!)
Neither positive nor negative, you can learn something from it!

Spicy touch!

I did not knew the power of Indian spicy food until I read this true small story.

An article from Times Of India.

Avinash, a simple person from Northern part of India who has lot of dreams.
He was travelling in his bike in the borders to spread the awareness of AIDS.He always stopped in his way and gave lift to passerby. In one of the borders he was taken hostage by a group of people with guns. They thought that he was a spy and was beaten very badly.
He was left alone in a room. No food was given for him for days.He could only see men with covered faces and guns all around him.
One day, he told them he can cook food for them.Firstly, they did not agree to it and they beat him again. Afterwards, they gave him a chance. He took that opportunity and cooked an indian spicy curry. They all were very much impressed with it and they ordered him to cook for them regularly. After a couple of week's,they set him free as he had cooked good spicy food for them.

So better start learning cooking.(spicy!)

Back to the rainy 80's

Back to the rainy season of 80's when the school re opens on June.

Amma called me morning @ 7.30am and asked me to get up from bed and get ready to school

I asked her "Can I go to school tomorrow?"
Phatak!Got it! a nice beating.
Brushed,Bathed,Had a half dosa wen the
bus was honking.
I tried another chance "Amma, Can I .....? "
Phatak! One more to add.
Entered into the bus with frown face and tears rolling down my cheeks!

And guess what, in the bus I got friends, who cried louder than me.
Crying and going to school after a long summer vacation, with new uniforms, new bags fully stuffed, small new VIBGYOR color umbrella, well covered books with HE-Man,Spiderman labels on, pencils which have no leds, eraser (i always got it my friends) and a tiffin box.
By the time, wen i reached the classroom my shoes were filled with water
and the whole day i ll be carrying around with them ;-).
When the class begins, I ll be busy showing the new things to my friends
and that's when i got the first beating in school. "Phatak!" No:3 to the list!.

Now the lunch break.

Hope you know how much noise wen there are a more than a 100 children.

Target was to finish the lunch box. :-) which had chappathi's rolled with jam.
Yummy! Still I feel that taste which Amma used to make me. I finished my meal fast for playing 'war' game.
Me n my friends were soldiers. We used to shoot anyone which comes in our territory!!

Once I said "hands-up". After that I shot myself, it was the school 'Principal'.
He said "Go to your classes" and i told "Thank You Sir".
I had my VIBGYOR umbrella as machine gun and finally when the war was over (bell rang!)
machine gun was broken.
Then the best part, after lunch break we had a nap.
My suggestion is that still we should follow this rule! :-)

Couple more hours and that's it. Its time to go home and play.

No tension! No commitments! Just go to school and come back! Life was simple, but great.

Every Friday evening was a big vacation for me and every Monday morning I had cold!!! ;-)

That age was called good old golden age!
I really miss those days.
